Human Subject Research
Research at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) may only be carried out in accord with the highest ethical standards. UIC has pledged that any research involving human subjects that is conducted by, sponsored by, or otherwise involves UIC, will be carried out in accord with Federal Regulations for the Protection of Human Subjects. Therefore, all human subject research in the Department of Psychology has been approved by the appropriate UIC Institutional Review Board (IRB).
