About
Diego Basaldu is currently working with Dr. Robin Mermelstein as a visiting research specialist. He also serves as a research coordinator for two ongoing NIDA funded studies: Switch to Standardised Research E-Cigarettes (Switch to SREC) and Patterns of Tobacco and Cannabis Co-use in Young Adults (TAC Study). Diego's main research interest is investigating the use and experiences of Delta-8 THC products. He is also interested in looking into the relationship between motivation in reward processing and alternative and synthetic cannabinoid usage, and to find ways to improve motivation using treatment.
