Psychology Professor Wiley Receives UIC Award for Excellence in Teaching
Professor Jennifer Wiley, of the psychology department, is among the 2014-2015 recipients of the UIC Award for Excellence in Teaching. The award recognizes outstanding commitment to teaching and learning and includes a monetary award applied to salary. Professor Wiley’s research interests focus on interventions that improve learning in science and history, the impact of collaboration on learning and problem solving, and conditions that enable people to solve problems creatively or more effectively. The 2014-2015 UIC Award for Excellence in Teaching winners will be recognized for this honor at the annual Faculty Awards Celebration later this year.
