Josefina Banales joins UIC Psychology Faculty
Dr. Josefina Banales will join the Psychology faculty in fall, 2021 as part of the Community and Prevention Research program. Dr. Banales research examines adolescents’ critical racial consciousness development, or how youth develop beliefs, feelings, and behaviors that challenge racism.
