About
Involvement Activities
I’m a teaching assistant for NEUS 483 and a research assistant for Dr. Mitchell F. Roitman’s laboratory.
Research
My research interest aligns with understanding the neurochemical basis of motivated behaviors by neurotransmitters like dopamine. I find the role of dopamine in the mesolimbic dopamine pathway of different brain regions, such as the nucleus accumbens and the hippocampus, particularly interesting.
Why am I doing the Post-Bac program?
This program can provide me with opportunities to gain and further develop my research skills, techniques, and knowledge in understanding the biological basis of different neural and psychological processes. Through this program, I also hope to learn and experience what it means to be an educator.
