Carmen Ochoa-Galindo, Ed.D., LCPC

Dr. Ochoa-Galindo is an alumni from UIC having received her Bachelor's Degree in the Applied Psychology Program. Subsequently, she went on to earn a master’s related to health psychology at National Louis University and a doctorate in counseling from Argosy University. She has a great deal of excellent undergraduate teaching experience, having taught at small quality liberal arts colleges in the Chicago area including Xavier, Morton, and National Louis. She also taught English as a Second Language at a university in Mexico for two years. Dr. Ochoa-Galindo is a licensed mental health clinician with over 10 years of experience providing individual, family, and group counseling to children, adolescents, and adults both in outpatient and inpatient settings who have experienced chronic mental illness, behavioral disorders, domestic violence, sexual assault, substance abuse, and trauma.
