October 4, 2017

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Location

West Campus, COMRB Room 8173

Address

Array,

Please join us for an upcoming talk presented by the Association for neuropsychological Student Training (ANST) on balancing research and clinical responsibilities in neuropsychology by Drs. Sara Weisenbach and Shawn McClintock.

The talk will be held next Wednesday, 10/4 at 5pm at COMRB room 8175 (West Campus, 909 S Wolcott). Refreshments will be provided!

This event should be a nice continuation of the conversations in the clinical brown bag tomorrow on managing both clinical and research responsibilities (which we encourage everyone to attend!). It is also another good opportunity to network with psychologists outside of UIC.

Dr. Weisenbach is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at University of Utah and a Clinical Psychologist in the Mental Health Program at VA Salt Lake City Healthcare System. Her research examines mechanisms of late life depression and cognitive decline. She was also previously an assistant professor and neuropsychologist at UIC.

Dr. McClintock is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center and is Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Duke University School of Medicine. His research examines the underlying cognitive processes in brain stimulation (e.g. transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) etc) as treatment for depression.
