Associate Professor Stewart Shankman has been invited to help lead a special NIMH Council Workgroup on Tasks and Measures for RDoC.

The workgroup will have the dual purposes of (1) developing consensus and providing advice to NIMH regarding tasks, paradigms, and measures (“tests” for short) for RDoC constructs and (2) identifying those constructs for which test development is needed. The goal is to provide a list of tests that have been reviewed with regard to construct validity and psychometrics and suitability for use across diverse participants, and can serve as recommended common data elements to facilitate data sharing in the RDoC database.
