The Department of Psychology at UIC would like all of our students to succeed in life; educating and preparing yourself to succeed in the major is one of the proactive steps that you can take toward this ultimate goal!

The Psychology Undergraduate Advising team hosts informational workshops about our undergraduate majors to better inform and educate students about the differences between the degree programs, course registrations, career opportunities, applying to graduate school, and more! All psychology majors are encouraged to attend, and we also invite those who are undecided to come learn more! Most of these discussions may include guest speakers who will share their experiences and engage in a Q&A with our students.

Students will be notified via the Psychology Major ListServ if attendance is limited and/or an RSVP is required. These informational sessions are held throughout the fall and spring semesters and students will be notified via email to register ahead of time.

Session Topics include:

  • How to Apply to Graduate School in Psychology or a Related Field (Part 1)
  • How to Apply to Graduate School in Psychology or a Related Field (Part 2)
