About

Stephanie Ramos is a doctoral candidate whose research focuses on promoting the success of Latine students in higher education, with a particular emphasis on two-year college students and the transfer pathway to four-year institutions. Her work examines the institutional, structural, and cultural factors that influence educational access, persistence, and degree attainment among Latine students.

Stephanie is also committed to translating research into practice by informing institutional, state, and federal policies that promote educational equity and improve college access, persistence, and graduation outcomes for Latine students. In addition, her research extends to the development and evaluation of community-based interventions that support the well-being of Latine immigrant communities by connecting individuals and families with culturally responsive resources and services.
