SOURCE Meeting – 03/30/23

SOURCE is a meeting place for BIPOC students within the department to create community with one another, discuss successes, and share hardships. This space is open to those who are looking for a place to be their authentic selves. The faculty representatives for this group are Dr. Jasmin Searcy-Pate and Dr. Josefina Bañales are our faculty representatives. During half of the meetings, the faculty reps will join the group to lend their support as students navigate academic spaces. The other half of the meetings are dedicated to the graduate students.
Join your fellow TAs on Thursday, March 30th from 3PM until 4PM in a fishbowl (classroom). There will be snacks! If you are interested in joining or have any questions, please email Felicia Gutierrez (fgutie9@uic.edu).
