The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (OVCSA) is accepting applications for ten competitive scholarships and awards available to students across all colleges and academic disciplines:
• Supporting Excellence Endowment (S.E.E.) Scholarship
• Lorilyn Espique Aquino Fund
• Dr. Thomas Beckham Memorial Scholarship
• UIC Eleanor Daley Scholarship
• Gordon J. Flesch Memorial Scholarship
• Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship
• UIC Jim’s Original Scholarship
• University of Illinois Alumni Association Pier Scholar Award
• Rundgren Foundation Scholarship
• VCSA Scholarship
Each scholarship and award provides between $1,000 and $5,000 to the recipients for the 2016-2017 year. Information about each opportunity and the online application is available through UIC SnAP, the campus-wide scholarship management system. Students must login at https://uic.academicworks.com and complete the general application before addressing criteria specific to each opportunity listed above.
